About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Admin. to join a growing IT team supporting a dynamic and collaborative organization. This role will serve as the primary SharePoint expert while also contributing to Microsoft 365 administration, process automation, and enterprise collaboration initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong SharePoint Online administration and development experience, a passion for improving business processes, and the ability to create scalable solutions that enhance productivity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
SharePoint Administration & Development
- Administer, maintain, and optimize SharePoint Online environments.
- Design and implement SharePoint site architecture, governance standards, and information management strategies.
- Develop and deploy custom SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions and web parts.
- Manage SharePoint security, permissions, and access controls.
- Build and maintain modern SharePoint sites, pages, lists, libraries, and document management solutions.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for SharePoint users and business stakeholders.
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Support the administration and management of Microsoft 365 services.
- Assist with tenant configuration, licensing, user management, and security controls.
- Partner with IT leadership to drive Microsoft 365 best practices and adoption.
- Support collaboration tools including Teams, OneDrive, and related Microsoft services.
Power Platform Solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Power Apps.
- Automate business processes using Power Automate.
- Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for workflow improvements and automation.
Identity & Automation
- Administer Entra ID (Azure AD), including users, groups, and access policies.
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for administration, reporting, and automation.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Required Qualifications
- SharePoint administration and development experience.
- Strong expertise in SharePoint Online.
- Experience developing solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Experience creating custom SharePoint web parts.
- Deep understanding of SharePoint information architecture and governance.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint security and permissions management.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience developing solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience administering Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting mid-sized organizations.
- Experience establishing governance and collaboration strategies within Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Experience leading or contributing to digital workplace modernization initiatives.
